Does anybody know how to turn black FRN scales white. What do I buy and what do I do. Thank You

I don't mean to be a downer but I don't think you are going to be able to dye black to white. Generally you go light to dark with FRN dying.

Think about it; FRN is "fiberglass reinforced nylon" and is a solid cast piece of colored nylon. The nylon is the same color through and through with minimal pores. Even if you could lighten the outside layer of the nylon, with some wear it would be dark again when the outer layer wears off.

Slab scales are easy to make. I don't know how complicated the pattern is of your knife, but I think you might find it pretty easy to make the simple patterns out of the material you want. If the scales aren't pinned on but are screwed in place you can take them off and use them for exact fit patterns.

Just a thought...

BM b'spacers appear to be 6/6 nylon, and I know from experience that it is possible to remove the color from them w/ Rit dye remover. So if FRN is nylon too (IDK, no exp here) then perhaps you can remove the color from them too, then dye. I've taken deep red nylon to a milky/anemic pasty whitish flesh color, ready to dye.
