How to Find Who is CEO of a Company? (Maxpedition)

Is the owner or president/CEO of a company public knowledge? If so, how does one track this information down?

Actually, I want to write a letter to the top person at Maxpedition with an idea and suggestion, and I want to address it to the proper person. (I'd like to do better than "Dear Sir")

So-- anyone know who's the head honcho at Maxpedition? Or can you tell me how I can find out on my own?

Just for grins, I looked up Maxpedition for any stock ticker symbol. Yahoo couldn't track any down. So I doubt if it's a publically traded company. If it were, It's officers and board of directors should be public info.
 
Go to the library, reference section. There will be a set of Standard & Poors

(will look like a set of encyclopedia`s)

You should be able to find them there.

I took Esav's advice and sent an email. Tim Tang (the CEO) replied with his phone number. I called, and we had our conversation. All went well. Seemed like a nice guy.

yes it is public knowledge along with the fiancial statements the board and the top holders. go to lycos and type in the company it tells you the ceo and if it doesnt then look at the top holders and it says it next to his name.
 
I believe Tim Tang is the head of the company. He has his own forum hosted on Kevin McClung'S (AKA Mad Dog of MD knives) Tactical Forums.

Tim is very responsive to customer comments and ideas, as well as quickly implementing changes. Shoot him an email or post on his forum.
