how to fix off center sod buster jr.

I found that if you open the blade and bend it, it will make the blade centered a little better. Seems permanent so far without any problems as far as blade play or or opening/closing. Try this at your own discretion as it could possibly break your knife! I got mine to go from rubbing really badly to the right to this.

Not totally perfect but at least it's not rubbing anymore! Excuse my ignorance if this is common knowledge, I did a search but couldn't come up with anything.

i'm not sure myself but the case knife i have also is off center. i guess send it back to the dealer if it's under warranty?
 
actually i dont know what to do about this problem. i have a rough rider or two which have some issues similar to those described here. not huge deal-breaker type problems but, you know, nobody likes flaws.
on the other hand, im mostly lazy but if i ever get motivated to fix those cheap knives i think i would look in the 'maintenance tinkering and embellishment' subforum. imho and ymmv.
