I some how managed to pull my clip out some from my knife yesterday and I dont have the hex bit needed to remove it so I can bend it back.

What size hex bit do I need and where can I get it?

Thanks.

I beleive that it is the same as the one used to take the knife apart, a #6 torx bit.

I bought a set at Lowes's for $6.00 total.:)

I bought a small combo driver set, bits in the handle. Made by Husky and I got it at Home Depot for about $5. Works on all of my knives with Torx screws.

Also, I believe Kershaw makes a keychain Torx driver specifically for their knives, called the TorxTool.

Edit: Hmmmm. It's not on their website. Maybe it was discontinued?

Call kershaw and tell them you bent the clip, they will send you a new one for free. I called them, got a hold of a real live person without any automated crap, they asked for my address and I have a new clip about a week later. Kershaws customer service is second to none.

Thanks for all the info. Went by Lowe's and picked up a Kobalt Precision driver. It was around $5.98 and has Torx T15, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, & 4.

Now I can fix the clip on my Gerber too. (It's clip has been bent for about a year.)
