I inherited a few Sabatier kitchen knives and want to get them looking beautiful again. The linked photo shows what's left after about 15 minutes of Bar Keepers Friend work. BKF did wonders but it stopped being effective. Would wet/dry sandpaper do the trick? Grit?

Looks good to me. If you are trying to get more of the stains of you might try a rust eraser

You could give Flitz a try. Just hand rub with a soft polishing cloth 👍

Try Barkeeper’s Friend. Just don’t let sit on the blade for long, clean and rinse.
