i need help getting my knives hair curling sharp i need someone to explain how they get thier knife hair curling sharp and what they use for this prosses

I hear alot of talk about using the spyderco sharp maker and various sharpeners. Unfortunatly the only way I learned to sharpend was with a stone, takes some time, but my knives get shaving without trouble.

Get a practicing and you'll be fine.

I DMT Diamond stones... I do it by practice. It's like sex; it's something you have to work at to be good at. The first time will be "meh." But as you go on, you'll learn DOs and DO-NOTs.

Practice, practice, practice. There are plenty of threads on this forum regarding sharpening technique, but whichever you choose, you're gonna have to practice.

The only fast way to do it is put it in the hands of an experienced sharpener. :grumpy:

thanks man i use a edge pro apex that i got for my 13 b day yes a 13 year old with a edge pro but how do you sharpen [never too sharp]

The edge pro is a great system, though. It helps with consistancy - a consistant edge angle is a top priority when it come to sharpening anything.

BTW, since you are a student, you should use your posts to practice capitalization, punctuation and sentence structure. They make your statements much more understandable. Just a thought.
