How To Get a Replacement Lock Bar Stop For a Zero Tolerance 0550?

So, I'm not sure where to put this or what to title it, but I have a question for anyone familiar with ZTs or ZT's warranty:

I lost my lock bar stop for an 0550, and I would like to get a stock replacement from ZT. I sent an inquiry about this, but they only sent a clip kit (which I had also requested) without a lock bar stop. Now, I am not complaining about ZT's customer service at all, their warranty/replacement info does not say that they will send lock bar stops. However, I was wondering if any of you know how I could request one in a way that will ensure I receive one? I would gratefully appreciate any information or help.

You'll have to send your knife in to ZT Warranty.

We can send you screws, pocketclips, torsion bars, pivot bolt and screws, and handle screws. Okay, so since they say they won't send anything but "screws, pocketclips, torsion bars, pivot bolt and screws, and handle screws" there is no way I can get them to send a lock bar stop without sending the knife in to the warranty department?

I would give them a call or e-mail. They may be willing to ship you a stop pin, even though that isn't one of the more common parts they ship out. Worst case, you're out a minute or two of your time.

I once asked about the lock bar insert (the steel guy that is both steel lock face and overtravel) for my 0801 when they were fairly new and they said via email (IIRC) that they weren't able to ship those. I don't know if things have changed (especially since they use them a lot more now). That's just my experience with KAI and lesser known parts. I've also had emails with a couple of questions in which only one of the questions was answered, which I chalked up to them being very busy. Maybe your original request also got glanced over by mistake?

Definitely possible. I think a phone call is the best next step.

The insert is pressed in, in addition to the screw, I don't think you can replace it. Not even sure if zt can replace it.
