The key to a toothy edge is jumping straight from a fairly low grit to very high. I'd recommend a coarse belt straight to stropping on some leather. With some compound, if you have any.
Try using the 120 grit belt until you feel a burr at your desired angle (this should not take very many strokes); just for arguments sake lets say 20 degrees.
Now adjust for a slight microbevel; let say 24 degrees. Now do 3 or 4 strokes with the 6000 grit on each side. Don't overdo it.
I really like the edge this makes.
