How to get Hinderer XM-24...

The 24s are one of the hardest Hinderers to get. You can sign up for alerts from dealers, and check Hinderers web site to see all the authorized dealers.
Then the day they come out you can say a quick prayer, skip work and be ready to go the minute they drop. And hopefully it’s a blade shape you like.
I mostly buy my Hinderers on the secondary (only bought 3 of them new IIRC)

If you’re not too fussy about the blade shape, things will be a lot easier for you…
But I did hear they are coming out with some 24 Spantos this year…

Cool username BTW I had a 1990 Katana 750 for a bit….that thing was Fast!

Pretty excited. I’ve been after that exact hindered (but in a different color) for a while now and everywhere I look is sold out. I’ll probably buy a few different scales just to mix it up.

Which pivot do people seem to like best? I’m assuming ball bearing. I saw Teflon as well, but I’ve always viewed Teflon as cheap as it comes in cheaper knives mostly.

If you ordered it from said dealer it will have Teflon installed.. when I had mine it was really nice.

Bearings are faster, but the Teflon was butter smooth.. no issues flipping or using the studs.

As long as it opens smooth and fully I don’t mind the Teflon I guess. I’ve got a ZT0562CF which has the bearings. It’s neither here nor there.

Still waiting on the knife... it's been 9 days. Killin' me! It's been hung up at one post office for 4 days.
Yeah it can take a while. I found clearing us customs being one of the biggest issues when shipping south via snail mail.

Had one but sold it because I thought it was "too big" even though I like +4" knives. Probably should have kept it but saw no need for it.

I also previously bought/sold an XM18 3" which I though was too small. Finally bought & kept a XM18 3.5" Recurve that was "just right' for me.

All transactions were carried out via a few years ago via The Exchange.

Just troll The Exchange or check out EB & ACK and you're bound to see an XM24 for sale.

The question is whether you're actually willing to pay the price you'll have to pay for it or not.
