Good evening gentlemen;
i saw spyderco sharpmaker rods at fairly good price at my knife shop and thought i can use them without buying the sharpmaker.But how?
making a wooden base and drilling holes seems not gonna work cus of triangular stones.
cutting a straight line top of a wood block and placing one of the corners of the stone there and use it as a flat stone looks fine but wanna hear other advices as well.
So would your recommend any tips to use sharpmaker rods without the base or homemade one.
Dont say just buy a goddamn bencstone cus cant find any good at my country and sharpmaker is 100 $ which is B.S
