I picked up a vintage J A Henckles straight razor dirt cheap, very clean blade, near flawless, no rust at all. Tangstamp has the twins and company name, and on the opposite side has a merchant stamp ( Buerger Bros ) I tracked down the company Buerger Brothers beauty supplies, Denver. Their warehouse was built in 1929, they closed up shop in 1972ish i think, but that's a heck of a gap.
Sharpened, stropped, and shaved with it. Cuts nice and smoothe. There is a good bit of the back wedge worn down from sharpening, so I'm thinking it's fairly old.
The handle/scales, are a black plastic, probably a celluloid, and ther is an orange (G10?) spacer.
I can post a pic if that will help.
Just curious.

This is a question you may want to try in the Bernard Levine forum. Henckles is classic old company and their stamps are just the sort of thing that the citizens of that forum are well-versed at.
