How to improve the Kalamazoo belt sander ??

I would like to improve my Kalamazoo belt sander I like it very much
but the wheels are not to my liking.
There is a convex wheel on the motor (makes the belt convex) I would like to replace it with a flat plastic wheel.
Also the top whee wheel is not to my liking ether, would like to replace it with a flat one.
Anybody done this or have any suggestion how to do it, were can I get a
one that will fit.

Modifications to either wheel may change the belt tracking?
You can order from Kalamazoo parts department replacement wheels, modify and adjust these wheels until you obtain, desired results.

More tension on your belt may help in flattening the belt when traveling across your platen?
