Got another one for you guys.
Does there need to be tension on the slip lock mechanism for it to work properly?
How much? (defelection? tension weight?)
How does one figure out how much tension a spring will produce, given the material and size? ie. ATS-34 .105" x .125" x 3" (thickness X height X length) - with a deflection of approx. .25"+??
Or is there any fast rule-of-thumb that can be used for determining the defelction/tension needed to provide a solid working mechanism.
Thanks for any help.
Darren
