 Almost seems like the flint tube is clogged, can't even poke a pin through it. ??

Sounds like the used flint got stuck in there. You probably need to poke that pin more forcefully.

Ask the maintainance forum lightertricks.com and look for Spanish Flea. That's why they tell you to remove the flints if you dont use it for a long time

When the flint gets worn down to a nub, it can pivot inside the tube. Reach with the pin from the sparking wheel side and you may be able to shift it so it falls out.

If you can't, a drill bit smaller than the dia of the tube, twirled between your fingers will get it. May be slow, but it works.

Kinda liek a gas tank, best to not let (length) get below 1/2... ;)

yep, that's what I finally had to do! :) Hadn't used this Zippo in 10+ years.

Flint has been changed, new fluid added. Good to go.
