How to jump to last post in thread?

I'm relatively new to BF and have a quick question:

In other forums I have been on, there is a way to jump from the listing of threads/forum overview immediately to the last/newest post in the thread, usually by clicking a link in the thread description like "last post." Can I do this on BF?

For example, say I've been reading a thread. I can click new posts and see which threads have a new post, but I still have to open the thread and then navigate to the new post. Not difficult to do, but I have to scroll down to it. Is there a way to open the thread that will show the new post on my screen immediately?

If not, that's fine. I'm just wondering. I have searched the faq's and this forum, but haven't found anything.
 
There is a way to do something similar. Threads that have unread posts will show up in boldface and will be preceded by a small boxed down arrow. Click on the down arrow to go to the first unread post.

The way to go to the actual last post is to click on the last noted page for the thread and scroll down.
