How to make a black blade ?

I have O-1 steel and I would like to make a tactical knife ...
Somebody know a simple and cheap method to change the color of a blade (if possible in black)

Somebody can saying more about black moly coating, epoxy coating, gun blue (gun black exist ?), etc ?

Send it to Darrel Lewis at Bodycote.com. He can chrome it and put a black Boron Carbide coating on it. I have a small 01 blade that I made yesterday that I'm going to do the same thing with. The BC coating is supposed to be very abrasion resistant and corrosion resistant when combined with the chroming.

Alain: You can use Tool Black. You can get it from MSC or McMaster-Carr.
