I got a spyderco military in black g10 recently and absolutely love the blade. It is definitely in my top 5. MY only complaint about it is that I can only carry it tip down which I am not a fan of. I think if I could make it a tip up carry it would move into 2nd place as my all time favorite folders.

Has anyone done this to theirs? I was thinking that I could rill and tap the other end like I would a pistol put have never worked with g10 before so I don't know how this would turn out.

I was also wondering if aynone knows where I could find one of the low rider clips that I have seen some people selling theirs with. I would greatly appreciate any help and advice that you guys have. Thank you in advance.

G10 Works fairly easily. I've made many knife handles out of G10.
If you have a drill press, the operation should be fairly simple.

Otherwise I'm not really sure, You can try to tap through it, but it would most likely turn out really sloppy.
Anyways, make sure you wear a respirator or at least a paper dust mask, It's pretty bad for your lungs.

Thank you for the advice and the link. Sorry about putting it in the wrong forum.

you can just put a short lanyard on it with a large bead. the knife is pocketed tip-up, the bead snags on the pocket lip and is instantly accessible.

That's actually what I have on there now and am thinking that it might be the way to go. It would be nice to have tip up carry with a pocket clip but I am afraid that I may mess it up and ruin a great knife.

The clip on the Military is curved. If you reverse it to the butt end of the knife, it curves off the handle. The solution is to order a left handed clip and install it on the butt end.
