Is it possible to make an old tread into a new one. So that way that tread would appear on top of the list.

I get that you are talking about "threads" not "treads". But I have no idea what you are wanting to do.
What list are you talking about?
 
If you’re speaking of a sales thread in the exchange section your not able to do that. If it’s more than 14 days old simply start a new thread. In other sections of the site simply replying to a thread will do what you ask.
