How to make handle like this

Looks like desert iron wood .That's a very dense wood and may be just buffed. Stabilized wood can also be buffed like that.

unfortunetly the desert iron doen's grow in our lands, but when i want to make handle of birch, what wax should i use then? yesterday i saw a knife which handle was boiled in somekind of a wax, it was made of a birch - the handle, what wax was probobly used?

Wood is ironwood. No stablizing needed. Simply sand to about 800 grit or 1000, then a very light buff with white or pink compound and youre done. Dont overbuff.

Ironwood is beautiful stuff. heres some I used a while back:

Holy cow, that's AWESOME. Nicest piece of wood I've seen in a long time.
