I took a Diamond file from my beloved PST II. All I had to do was widen the notch where the lock fits in by about .030 thou. I used my dremel. I had to use 2 vise grips and unscrew the pivot that the file is atached. Only one side unscrews out. The other has a flat on it. You really have to be careful.
I think it makes the Blast Better than the PST II because the Blast locks. I get very mad
at Leatherman because they leave the Diomond file out on there premere tools.
Case in point, the new supertool (which I would love to buy, however) markets the replaceable wire cutters to be sharpend in the field. I'm sorry, but if the cutters are that soft to be able to sharpen them with the standard file, then they are way to soft. It would make so much more sense to have a diomond file in it.
