Hey I have noticed that my milllie isn't as smooth as my tenacious and was wondering if there is anyway to make the Millie smoother?

Using it is usually the recommended treatment with those. I don't know if they still use the eccentric pivot/stop pin for more precise fitting at the factory but they've always been a bit tricky to get back together just right, so disassembly and polishing/tweaking usually ends up worse than when you started.

The best advice I can give is to give it a thorough cleaning with hot water and dish detergent, or a bath in an ultrasonic cleaner, rinse and blow it dry, apply your favorite lubricant, and work the knife, it'll smooth up in time.

I recently got one and it definitely is rock solid and opens easily and quickly in every method I can think of. However, it isn't really "smooth". I put some nano lube around the washers and pivot and it starting to smooth out with use. It seems to me that the advice you have received is spot on.

One of my three Millies is from 1992, the first year they were made. While it is smooth after all these years, it is definitely not as smooth as, say a Benchmade Axis. There is only so smooth it can be when the blade is basically sandwiched in between two pieces of G-10 with steel inserts. Losening the pivot pin helps, but then you get blade play. I am not worried about any of my Military's being smooth. They are named MILITARY, they should act the part. Be tough and ready at all times. I'll take a little roughness around the edges to have one or two of these great knives on my person at all times.
