How to make/what would a portable forge look like

So I’m planning to travel around the us by foot with a couple friends but I need some contingency for if I run out of cash or need to make a oddly particular tool and I can’t wood work for shit and most things that require extreme delicacy or fine motor skills like carving or engraving are near impossible for me since I have extremely stiff hands and when they aren’t stiff they are shaky so I figured making medium to small sized knives or steel items (cross toothpick things of the sort) might be my saving grace so this begs the question how the hell should I build a temporary forge or how do I make something that I can reasonably carry with me.

Also let me apologize for the lack of punctuation I honestly don’t understand how to use it
