how to post photos

Can anybody tell me how to upload pictures directly into a thread? Image bucket seems to be working for me but I'd rather post them as actual photos than as links. Thanks

If your image is hosted someplace (Image Bucket, in your case), all your need to do is click on the insert image button. This will bring up the window to select how the image is to be inserted:

Just select From URL tab and insert the link to your image file where I indicated in the graphic above (making sure to uncheck Retrieve remote file and reference locally). This will insert your full-sized image into your post.

Or, you can do like I do and just use the code (removing the need to use the insert image button) .... just type:

and you will be good to go.
