Im newer to site and cant find out to post photos for trade im looking to do.....can anyone please help me out????thanks

In order to post pictures you have to have an image hosting account on a website such as photo bucket or imageshack etc....
From there you have to "import" your photo(s) from your device (in my case it an iPhone) to your image hosting account.

Once you import or upload your photo(s) to your image hosting account, it is there until you delete it.

When you go to post a picture, you need to have two tabs open on your browser: your blade forum page and your image hosting page.

On your blade forum page you will write your description etc...then you need to locate the icon in the top of the box you are typing in. It looks like a tree in a square. This will open an area to type an "image code"

Then go to your image hosting site and copy and paste the image code from the desired photo to the text box on the blade forum page, then hit save.

After hitting "save" the image code will show up as text under your description of your item you are trading. Once you select "submit thread" or "post quick reply" the text will change to an actual image.

Hope this helps, feel free to contact me if needed. There are probably easier ways but its the first way I learned.

In my case I use photobucket. When I upload to photobucket from my phone it doesn't ask for photo size. Also when I send a photo from photobucket to bladeforums via "copy/paste" method, there is not an option concerning size. I copy the "IMG" code from photobucket and paste it in the " text box" on blade forums. Once I hit submit or reply it automatically loads the picture to the appropriate size.

Sorry for the slow response. I haven't checked my forum page in a while.

Thanks. I've not been on is a few days myself. I'm trying to do this from an iMac and am going around and around trying to resize with Preview. I'll get it figured out eventually.

I do mine from an iPhone. Just be sure that before you paste your image code that you click on the picture icon (looks like a tree on a square). If you don't click the "tree icon" and you paste your "IMG" code in the text area, the code will appear as just that; a bunch of letter/numbers with no link to a photo.

Very frustrating when this happens!!!

Your menu/choices within Preview might look different depending on what version you have, but the following should give you the general idea.

Within Preview, with the image in question open:

Go to the Tools menu

Select Adjust Size...

Choose selected size and click Okay (or hit Return); remember to Save (command-S) afterwards

Hope this helps.
