How to Post Pics from Photo Bucket

No doubt this info is clearly posted somewhere but I can't find it. So I apologize for making someone do extra work.

I cannot figure out how to move a picture from Photobucket to a thread. I did once yesterday but after an hour of trying cannot do it today. Is there a clear concise set of instructions on how to do this? I am not a hi tech guy but I try.

Go to your Photobucket picture.
Roll your cursor over the picture and you will get a drop-down menu.
Go to the last URL, the one with IMG code, and left-click it. It will flash Copied.

Go to your thread and Paste that URL where you want it to show up.

Sorry but I don't know how to "Past that URL" or where to paste it. Is it different if I am posting a new thread as opposed to replying to one? This afternoon I spent over an hour trying to get a picture onto a thread after I had gone to the last URL with the IMG code and left clicked. It did flash Copied but I never was able to get it to show up in my thread.

Sorry but I just don't get it.

Once you have copied the IMG code on Photobucket, all you have to do to get it into your post is put the cursor where you want it to appear, click the right mouse button, then click "Paste" on the pop-up menu that appears when you right-click. The code will be pasted into the post as a line of text. When you submit the post, that line of text will appear as the picture you selected.
