always use a tripod

a good sturdy tripod is probably the single most important piece of photo gear that you can use to get sharp pictures.

Digi cam with large mem stick set to one of the higher settings... then simply resize the pic or cut/crop till you've got the size you want.

by the way,,,what digital camera are you using and what is the megapixel ?

thanks for the advice. i am not real computer/camera savvy, but i will experiment with it.

I just upload my pics to photobucket.com, and they automatically resize it so it fits the page here. All you have to do then is cut and paste the url to the pic you want (using that little box with the mountain and sun), and it's like magic.

I use a 7 megapixel camera set to 1 megapixel and macro mode, with the subject on a neutral background.
The picture was taken in the shade with lots of sunlight all around.
The camera was hand held, and pictures uploaded to photobucket.com.

Pic looks good, but those aren't Busse folders. You've been had :( ;) :D

i am using an hp 3.2 mp. kind of old, but i think i still should be able to post decent pics. btw that photobucket suggestion sounds great but a little complicated for this simple guy.

Hey Spinnerblade,
Is that Microtech Socom a polished bladed tanto? And if so did you buy it that way?

Curious as I used to one one and I applied the high polish and then I later sold it, wondering where it ended up ;)

:D:D

Eric, it is a regular clip point. I sent it out to have the black coating removed and polished, and had it modded to tip up carry.
Unfortunatly it came back totally dull and a few months later would no longer lock and the screws for the clip came loose:confused: . Bummer to pay for something like that.
