How to post pictures?

I just got a gold membership after getting a free ride for a year and a half. I've looked for an idiot's guide to posting pictures here, but I guess I'm too much of an idiot to even find it.

So, how does one go about posting pictures? Do I need to download some program to my computer etc? I have never posted pics on any computer before, so be gentle!

You can try it out right here in this thread. Click the reply button, then look down below the box you type your post in for a button that says "Manage Attachments." Click that and a dialogue box will pop up. (Tell your popup ad blocker that Bladeforums is safe. We don't have any popup ads.) Click "browse" and you'll find yourself browsing your own hard drive for the picture.
