Sorry if this is a stupid question but I'd rather ask then not.

I've heard it pronounced a couple of different ways. I've heard some say "BUS-eeee" and others say "BUSEY" (as in Gary Busey) and yet others say "BUSS". Which is the correct pronunciation?

Thanks in advance guys!

Call them and listen to what they say when they answer, IIRC, it was Bes ee. But that was years ago.

So your recommendation is that I call them, wait for them to answer, and then hang up? Its a little rude, no?

"Good afternoon, Busse knives, how may I help you?"

"Thanks, that's all I wanted to hear"

[hang up]

Also, who's to say that the person answering the phones gets it right? I mean, could be someone new to the job. Could be a way of doing I guess but I'd rather get the opinion of the forum before calling.

Thanks though.

you can say Bus eeee. or you can say it like Buzz eeee. or some people say Booze eeeee. I've even heard Butz eee. I think it all depends on what country you are from.

That might be plausible if you were talking about any other corporation, but not here. The Busse family, and family being the key word here, doesn't operate like your typical crank out mass production conglomerate with a bunch of employees who have never met their boss/company owner. It is a pretty small company where everyone that works there has met the man himself which would eliminate the possibility you mentioned.

It also creates a great customer service experience that you should call to experience yourself, even if it is just to say hi or ask a question. Lexi and Pokey are sweet gals to talk with.

Bus-see is the only way I have heard it when I call the shop or talked with hogs who know the product.

And people wonder why the first thing in the morning we get online to check the forum. It's exactly for this reason. It brings a smile when reading the intellectually stimulating posting. rotflol What a way to start the day. Thanks:thumbup:

If you elect to hang-up that's on you -- or your mood-altering substance of choice. I think you should order something. ^___^

Come on admit it... you were dying to say "pussy" :D:D Then crack a great Ozzie joke about which is more expensive ... ( in cat food of course ) ....

Peter, you have talents I didn't know existed in humans :D Mind reading around the planet indeed! Goodness!

But then, if had said pussy, I would've been referring to the condition a nasty infected sore gets ;)

rhymes with were is all my Money
