It seems quite large to me. Not great for carrying. I was wondering if he makes a 6 " knife? BTW Thanks for the responses.

Look for Hell Razor/Mud Razor, Satin Jack Tac/Mole Jack on the exchange forum, those are popular INFI. Many Hog/Piglet also like Swamp Rat, lot of choices on the exchange also.

Or order Scrapper 6 on http://www.scrapyardknives.com/ for now.

BTW, order a FBM now before it is too late :eek:

To clarify some of the prior answers: Busse produces a run of one or two models at a time, taking orders and producing as many knives as there are orders for the span of months usually. Once they stop taking orders, the Busse Company Store generally has some in stock for a short time thereafter. Once they are gone from the store, the only place to get them is on the secondary market. That is why it is being suggested to check out the "for sale" board. There, you will find on an almost daily basis Busses of most every size and description for sale.

The bottom line is: However you have to get one, get one! You won't regret it.
 
If there is a particular model you are looking for, put up a post in the Knives, Wanted To Buy forum.

In the 6" range the Satin Jack is a great choice.

You may also want to check out the last few pages of this post http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=352682 It is a picture archive and will give you some idea about some of the different models. The last few pages probably have the most recent knives available. Once you find a knife that interests you then you can post here about info etc. The forumites will be more than happy to help you find what you are looking for.

As far as 6" models go start with the Hell Razor, SJtac, Mole Jack, Mud Razor.

Hey, thanks. Out of those that you mentioned above, which would you recommend for Defense (foremost), then more duty work/survival stuff? Or are they all top notch and I'm just sort of picking aesthetics? I am new to the whole knife business in general. I greatly appreciate your guys' input and patience.
