I am sorry for asking what is probably a silly question.... I searched tech help and did not see this question... How do you quote another post in a reply? with it enclosed in a text box?

You can also multiquote -- quote more than one person in your response. See the quote marks with a plus next to Reply With Quote. Use that on the preceding quotes and Reply With Quote for the last of the series, like this ...
And now you can answer each or all at once.
On the lower right corner of every post you will see tabs for "reply" and "reply with quote". Clicking on the latter will bring up the quote enclosed in the text box.
