How to remove a blade label from a GEC?

Is there a good way to do this? I would like to remove the "French Kate" from a French Kate.

Metal polish of your choice and a little elbow grease. Doesn't take much. I like Mother's mag & aluminum polish.

My strop with metal polish does fine.

If the etch has been on the blade for a long time, you might not be able to remove all of it with metal polish alone. If that's the case, get some 1000 grit to 1500 grit wet/dry sandpaper and polish the remainder out with that.

I read the Flitz suggestion... it gave me a smile. Why, because I hold it in high regard... and always keep a tube of it around. Have not needed to use any for anything in years, but there she is, just in case! ;-)
