How to remove gold CRKT logo from black pocket clip?

I recently picked up a CRKT Shizuka Noh Ken (non-assisted James William design) and the love the slim design and deep carry clip... but the clip is black with CRKT logo in bold gold font. Sticks out like a sore thumb on dark pants.

Has anyone got ideas on how to remove it, whilst keeping the actual black clip undamaged?

Try a black permanent laundry marker or maybe just a black magic marker.

If it's gold paint on black paint, you might have a hard time getting the gold off without damaging the black. You could try to gently scrub it with a Scotch Brite pad...the white kind that are extra gentle...and a little acetone. If the black is more of a Parkerized black, you should be able to go after the gold with any kind of paint remover.
