How to remove scratch from ZT0450 satin blade

Back when I was still learning on the KME with newer stones and before I learned to put tape on the blade I put several low diamond grit single scratches on the satin finish.

Is there a way to get rid of those scratches. This blade also has a stone washed flat near the spine. So I would have to protect that area with any fixes.

ZT will put a new blade in it for $30.00 and will etch your same serial # in the new blade. I had to have my 450 re-bladed after a few sharpening mistakes. I would contact ZT and see if there are other options to fix it.

wow thats cheap for a reblade especially s35vn.Good info to know if something happens to my 0450 blade. thx
