How to remove the coating of a BK11 ?

Hi dudes !
Soon I'll have a lightly used BK11 (second hand :) ).
It has some marks on the coating - I'm gonna use it hard and the coating would get even more damaged.So do you have an idea how to remove the coating of the blade - I much prefer the look of uncoated steel and would like to form a nice patina from use :thumbup:

Jeffs1 can tell you. He did an 11 and a 2 (that i own). Shoot him a pm or maybe he will come on here and help out. Congrats on your 11! I dont leave home without mine in my pocket!

paint stripper. Spray on let soak overnight. Scrub clean with hot water and a scrubby brush.

nuff said.
 
I haven't done the Becker ...yet, but I did the Izula which had a similar coating and I took my Dremel to it. This abrasive wheel blew the coating off like it was dust! Left no scratching :thumbup:
