how to remove the handle from a buck 119

i see 2 options grin the pins and punch out or take a small torch and burn the wood off. carefull not to over heat everything like the blade
 
not sure i understand about grinding the pins they are not visible not sure what method buck uses to install the handles on them does the pommel screw off? or is it pinned?
 
on the pics i see the pommel is peend. if you cant see any pins in the wood i would use a small screw driver and a hammer and pry the wood off the pins are probably hidden under the wood and held with epoxy
