How to renew current level membership w/o upgrading level? Link missing?

I’m stumped.

My current level Gold membership will expire the first week of July. I usually just renew a few weeks early to avoid any hiccups in the process.

The problem I am having is that when I click on the Paid Subscriptions link at the top of the page (while logged in), it automatically brings me to My Account, Account Upgrades page which lists just the Available Upgrades starting with Platinum (Gold option is missing).

I just want to renew at my current Gold level and use the Purchase button, (exactly the same as the other levels showing). Using this Purchase button brings me right to PayPal w/the option to pay by credit card and a transaction email sent to me.

This is a screenshot of what the current page looks like. (Cut off and not showing is my last year purchase w/expire date).

In the most simple of terms I’m just asking where is the Gold Membership Renewal/Purchase Button?

Prior to the system upgrade, one would get an email about a week before the current subscription expired. It would have a link to click to renew. I was going to give you the link from my last email; but I checked & it doesn't work. I would guess that the emails still go out; and that the link would have been corrected. (In the meantime, I'll take a quick look to see if it's posted in the problems thread. I don't know if you can access the subscription page as a guest (logged out); but it's worth a shot.
 
Yep, tried the log out, all it would give me as an option was to register (don’t want to do that).

I read through all the upgraded threads and put in a search for “renew membership” too, read through all those pages too back to 2019. Checked the pinned links at the top, found one under “change name” in Sparks post, in that link if you choose the option to pay by credit card it redirects to another knife web site. That says BF, but the wording and prices are different, as is the payment with surcharges too. It lists memberships, but that can’t be the correct direct link I’m looking for.

If you allow your membership to expire, the "Paid Subscriptions/Membership Upgrades" page will once again show your current (former) subscription level.

Yes, that would certainly be a way to do it. If all else fails in my attempt to renew early, I just may end up defaulting to that.

I’ve had 2 other Gold Members PM me, they too did not have an access Purchase button to renew at their current level of Gold. Both, same as me, could only see their current membership status box at the bottom of their Account Upgrade page.

They both however also said, as did you, that they received an email around a week early with a link to upgrade. That however was before the new BF upgrade version.

I’m sure somebody will pop in here having renewed sometime this June with details.

Ya July 3rd is my date and I have received nothing yet. And with the help of others just figured how to put pics up with new site. Haven’t really used the site because of it. So to have to jump up to platinum kinda sucks but who wants to set everything up again

Can you please send a email with the Gold Level Membership renewal link to both myself Retired UPS Driver Retired UPS Driver and teddy1093 teddy1093 . Both of our paid Gold memberships are expiring the first week of July and we both wish to pay/renew our current membership level this weekend ahead of time.

I have been in communication with Teddy and he has confirmed to me that his email on file with BF is current and correct, as is mine being current and correct.

Thank you in advance for all your time and effort Spark, it is truly appreciated.

Thank you for the official answer, that eliminates a lot of further guessing and searching.

I see Teddy chose to not wait and upgraded one level to Platinum. That does appear to be the only available option right now (to renew early) unless one lets it (Their Membership) expire, and then all the purchase options will appear once again, or when the renewal email arrives with the current level link.

I appreciate everyone’s time Involved in both reading and responding to my question.
