How to reshape Stag ......anyone......

Hi, folk's I asked how to reshape the stag on my Buck
110 to make it more flat and smooth and comfortable over
in the Buck forum. Folk's there recommended I ask here for
help.

Some may think I nuts for wanting to do this ,but I'm not at all.
I simply want to make this 110 more comfortable so that I can
use it as intended. You see I'm not a big fan of the knarly features
of stage preferring instead stag that is smooth and white in shape
and color. Any suggestions or info on how to file (work) the slabs
on this knife to where they are flatter and smoother would be most
welcome.

Tape up the bolsters if it has em and start sanding. Start with 60 grit and make the scales as smooth as you want to. You might want to tape the paper to a board for a little more control.
