How to retouch?

I sharpened my knife at 30 degrees inclusive and micro beveled at 40 degrees. i did this from some advice i got and it got my knife really sharp. How do I retouch this edge? do I sharpen at 30 and 40 degrees? or do I just retouch on 40 degrees? thanks.

As long as the edge has not seen hard use use your finest stont to touch-up the microbevel.

You will have to use 40° to touch the edge up again, or else you can remove some more metal with the 30° position until you get to the edge again.
