What Blues said about selling privileges.
As a non-knifemaker member you don't have the status privilege to discuss sales. All dales must be in The Exchange.
Talking about how to get into the knife business and tips on selling knives is OK, as long as you don't talk direct sales topics.

The short answer to your question is:
1) Learn how to make a good knife. This takes time and practice. Don't consider selling until you are ready.
2) Become a known maker. This may require going to hammer-ins, going to shows and meeting other makers, and joining your local state or area knifemakers club or guild. Take a few of your best knives with you and politely ask some of te experienced makers to take a look. Ask what they like and don't like. Have thck skin. You want to know what others think, not get a big ego boost. If you are ready to sell, there won't be many changes to make.
3) Start small. Do a small knife show with a table with your best 8 knives. Be attentive to everyone who looks at them.
4) Don't try to be a full orchestra. Be a soloist or at most a trio. That means pick one to tree knife styles and do only those until you have them mastered. I started with probably 20 styles and sales were minimal. I now do less styles and sell more knives.
