how to sell a knive?

First you need a gold or better membership. Don't you hate all the pop-up and banner ads on here? I haven't noticed any either, that's because this is one of the few forums that hasn't sold out. IMO, I'm happy to kick in $25/year to keep it that way.

Next you'll need a photo hosting account like photo bucket or Flickr. You load your photos to your account and then paste the link... (You may upload a couple photos straight to the forum but it works better to use a sharing service)

Into the new thread you've started in the exchange, for sale by individuals, production folding knives (I'm guessing) forum. You must include a price, this is not EBay. Also if you ever want to sell again be very upfront with any wear, damage or blemishes. Read the selling rules!
