how to sharpen fallkniven knives

i planing ob getting a fallkniven knife but want to know how to sharpen one before i get one

I believe they are convex so the Mouse pad \sand paper or stopping should work well.

VG-10 responds well to diamond hones.

What about their U2 pocket knife? I was interested in one of those but the blade steel is supposed to be the toughest in the world (SGPS).

I've used both methods, DMT diamond hones and mouse pad/sandpaper. Both seem to work fine and put a good cutting edge on the blade. I prefer mouse pad/sandpaper to keep the convex edge.
