How to stop lateral blade play?

Recently I traded for a real nice bone handled Camillus slipjoint.

It's a one blade knife, in great mint shape, but it's got a bit of lateral bladeplay. Just enough to be annoying...I'm sure you know what I mean.
(Even with the bladeplay I like the trade enough not to reverse it - although the guy could have mentioned it, I think.)

Any ideas of how to tighten this up?

Thanks,

Not without sending it to a professional, if the rivets are not visible.

I've had some luck just compressing the area with the play (bolster) in a soft material covered vice (dead copper for a coverover the jaws). If that fails, I go with uncovered jaws (but then I have to repolish).

If it recurs, and it's one with hidden rivets behind the bolsters, you have to take the knife apart (I don't go this far, but there are books on the topic).
