hi ,you all and CS.

i have a throwing knife and a gi tanto, and i want to strip off the coating .

does coating stripper works ?

Sandpaper to rough up the weakass coating, then use Klean Strip or JASCO paint and epoxy remover. the solution will absorb itself into the scratches like a marinade. The coating will begin to lift off itself, then take a keen blade and gently scrape off the straggling coating material. Usually takes around 15 minutes of sit time. Be sure to do it outside, as the spray is fumy. And a tinfoil baking pan or just a few sheets of tin foil itself will be a good base to work on.
