how to tell the old vs new style Bear Grylls Ultimate knife?

how does one tell the old vs new (redesigned with stronger pommel) style Bear Grylls Ultimate knife?

If I'm not mistaken, the only difference that you can see is the thickness of the orange plastic right above the pommel. I think the new ones have the thinner orange plastic. I could be wrong though.

Also, if you're wanting to get something similar, look at the prodigy.
