Just received a brand new Lionsteel KUR -
First impression in picking up box - this has some heft ! - this is not a bigger TRE It's a different larger knife .
Really well made , great ergos , centering was spot on out of box .

the question is how to get a smoother deployment ? I know it's new and needs a break in period .. should a drop of oil in the detent hole be all needed
Or should pivot area be flushed out with WD40 , Then some oil ?

Thanks

drop of oil on the detent track and just let the detent track wear in with flipping it often. should get nicer with time.

I'll see , this is a tank - good think , clip is ridiculous - bad thing

I carefully bent my clip out. It's still touching the scale but much less tension.
The action on mine was gritty at first. I flushed the pivot with WD-40 and little brass colored flecks came out. I did that a few times. Lots of flipping since then and it's quite smooth now.

Packed it up and sent it back ... I need something between the TRE & KUR
