How to turn PMs on?

Hello, I recently purchased a knife via the makers forums and was informed that my PMs were dissabled? PMs are a type of messaging right? How do I turn it on? I cant find any opition for it in settings. Sorry, I am quite old school with all this modern tech computer stuff, I just browse the makers section for knives that catch my eye.

You have to purchase a membership here the minimum being $10 year basic.

PMs are Bladeforums internal email. They are only available to paid members. http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/payments.php

Make sure your regular email is activated. http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/profile.php?do=editoptions
To access other members email, click on their user name for the drop down menu and click on email, if available.

You can also use your Visitor Messages. The only question with Visitor Messages is that they are visible to everyone.
