I just installed the update for Facebook on my iPhone 4S, and now I can only share items on my own timeline. I don't even have the option to share in a group or to others timelines.

How do I uninstall this update?

There has to be a way, maybe a backup on itunes, the old app file in the trash or somewhere in the storage, i don't know, and don't have an iphone to try and help more, but it should be possible somehow.

Press and hold the icon of the application that you want to delete for a couple of seconds. After that, the icons will start to wobble and you will see an "x" in the upper left corner. Press the "x" and the application will be deleted from the phone. Hope that helps.

I tried that, but when I reloaded the app it was the new version. I was able to uninstall updates on my old slide out keyboard Android.

If you post a status, type the names of people whose timeline you want to right on (after their first name, the full name should pop up).

Or, at the bottom, there should be a silhouette with a +. Tap that, and you'll get a checklist of people you want to tag.

That's the way it is on an Android anyway.

If this isn't enough, you can always just go to facebook's webpage, change it to desktop mode, and do it from there.

You can't, you don't get freedom like computers. Updates that make things worse, just perfect.

Apps that have been updated get replaced in iTunes with the new version, and the old one gets booted to the recycle bin usually. Look there.
