how to use elk ivories in a knife handle and sheath

Hello, I look around on bladeforums alot but rarely post. I am looking for ideas on how to incorporate elk ivories into a knife handle and a sheath. Right now, I have about 5 pairs. I am thinking of using them like brass rivets on the mountain man sheaths that I have seen but trying to come up with some other ideas. Thank you in advance. Al

Polished, and inlaid like a shield at usually the back of the knife is common with them. Also as lanyard stops.
