Hello everyone, I had my FBM sheath made and it has a single frog Button on it.

I thought the frog button can just snap on my regular belt holes, but appearently belt regular holes are not big enough

That really beats the city fella~ Do you guys has picture how exactly, what kinda stuff the frog button on sheath should be use on
So I know what kinda stuff I should be consider buying. I am more thinking about a single shoulder strap...so FBM can pull out from suite jacket, long jacket or any kinda jacket instead of hang around on belt next to legs.

Thanks!

Can you post a photo of this "frog button"? I have no idea what that is!

The stud and frog set up is on my list of things to try on a sheath when I get the chance to make anymore. Does any of this help you wuyeah? I know there is a shot of someone with one of these stuck in their belt, but I couldn't find one.

Sorry for my slow response. I was trying to use illustration to backup my english and what i understand.

Is it what you guys said? The frog button actually act as a Stop on top of the belt that i am currently wearing instead of trying to pop the frog throught the small hole or have a strap that can slide in.

Then.....if you want to carry the sheath under the arm. what should i do?

My favorite Frog Button Photo, WARNING NON BUSSE MATERIAL :)

I don't know jack about "frogs" but I like the "force to pop" illustration better than the other two. Neither of those seem like very effective retention for your sheath, if you worry about that kind of thing.

But, if you want to use it, how about enlarging your belt holes (or adding one/some) just big enough so the "frog" presses through and won't slide out?

You guys are speaking Greek. Is there some kind of Order of the Frog that is a sub-sect of the Busse clan?

I frequently wear my ZTSH user in a Kydex sheath just jammed inside my pants with only my belt for retention. Works fine. I do this for my suburban walks so as not to spook the neighbors. I would think that if my sheath had a frog added it would be very secure.

Frog stud on the leather sheath. Acts as a stop when the sheath is slid down between the pants and belt. Stops on the belt as in illustration #1.
