How To Wrap Butt End of Tanto?

Can someone describe, or better yet show, how to tie off the butt end of a wrapped tanto handle? I've attached an example from a Steve Corkum knife to show what I'm trying to figure out.

Is this simply an overhand knot tied inside the hole? I've seen the page on wrapping a traditional tsuka, but I don't think that's I need to know.

I sure hope someone can set me straight on this, I won't have too many chances to get it right!
